Prayers please

Dear St. Rita, please intercede for me to our Lord Jesus Christ. Somebody told me today that I am committing a sin because I pray to saints ( you), angels and Mary. My dear angel, i do not wish to displease God and I love Jesus with all my heart. This person made me feel so bad about myself and my beliefs for telling me I am a sinner and that I am offending God for praying to you. Please save my soul and protect me from all evil as well as my immediate family. Thank you so much. I love you
