prayers for my marriage

Saint Rita, patron Saint of impossible causes please continue to pray for me and lift up my request.

I need help and prayers to Saint Rita. My marriage, which has been dying day by day, is collapsing. My husband after 20 years has told me he wants a divorce. Even though I know and ignored the problems we were having I want to not only save our marriage but help it to thrive and be surrounded by God's love. I was neglient in his feelings and we both stopped trying years ago. Reading about St. Rita and the abusive marriage she had she was able to overcome and forgive. I pray to St. Rita to help soften my husband's heart and let the light of love come back into our lives. He was an ethical man but now is having an affair with one of the woman that works for him. They both could be fired. Please let him see that she is Satan trying to destroy our marriage. God hates divorce

I pray to you St. Rita because you are the Saint of lost causes and we are lost. Pray for us. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in God, and I need to have faith and not give up hope.

Why do you want to stay in that marriage? God doesn't want you to be miserable.

remember, when god closes one door he always leaves another one open, even if it is only slightly. god loves you and he will help you to find your way. you will be in my prayers as well.

I want my marriage to survive because that is what God wants. He does not want us to be doubleminded. Because it is much easier to get a divorce than trying to work on our marriage that people give up too easy. I stand for my marriage because I truly believe this is God's plan for me.

You are so strong in trying to save your marriage and it must be so hard for you as there seems to be no compromise from your husband. Perhaps both your husband and this other woman being fired will be a wake up call to both of them and I truly hope that your husband sees her as the root to evil and his downfall from grace, he may be forgetting the happier times and why the both of you fell in love with each other. And yes, God may hate divorce (as I feel that "hate" is a word He would not use) but I feel that divorce distresses Him as it separates two human beings that devoted their life to each other under His roof in a special ceremony whether it was a Church, Synagogue, or Mosque. I feel that some forget their wedding vows and do not realize the intent and where they are when they speak them.

Grass always looks greener on the other side until you have to deal with the cost of maintence of it.
